Ismaki - Challenge 12

Trust me to do last week's Ismaki challenge this week - I don't know - I suppose I will have to blame my age!! Anyway does it really matter? I really enjoyed myself making these cards and want to say thank you so much to everyone involved in creating the wonderful card maps and ideas on http://ismaki.wordpress.com/ . I will certainly do more using these maps in the future.

Both cards are on a lilac theme and use papers from the DCWV Floral Matt Stack. One is a Magnolia Tilda stamp and the other a really sweet Cuddly Buddly that a friend stamped for me. Thank you Irene!!!

Tanda Teaser-Butterfly Blue

Back from my holidays and really looking forward to doing some challenges again. This card is for the Tanda Teaser challenge which involved using the theme of butterflies and the colour blue in the design.

Great I thought I've got masses of butterfly stamps - spoilt for choice for this one. As it turned out I ended up using just one stamp with a verse on about butterflies and happiness. I stamped on to blue vellum, matted on to pearle card and then mounted on to some beautiful K&Co butterfly blue paper.

the butterfly in the corner is a peel off on the blue vellum - would have preferred to have stamped a butterfly but for some reason the stamping wasn't going too well on the vellum!!!

Shelley's birthday card

My youngest daughter is 20 on Wednesday - oh my goodness!!! I wanted to use one of my Tilda stamps and make something a bit different from all the Tilda cards I have done before. Hence the huge letter 'S' with printed 's' words scattered on it...
sexy

sensational

super

sunny and of course her name ...

Shelley.

And of course Tilda sitting on the swing part of the letter.
Fortunately she won't see this as she doesn't check out my blog. Will have to be more careful with her big sister's card in May as she does look in here (and leaves messages - yes you can have a keyring Laura!!!).

Thank you so much to great friends who have become followers of my blog. Love having you around.
