Warning!!...

I believe there may be a dangerous crafting criminal at large!!!

Somebody else (not me honest!) has been in my craftroom and they have totally trashed it...

Rubber stamps everywhere - bits of paper - card - magazines - unbelievable!!!

There was even the curled up backing strips from DST in poor old rabbit's ears (a little fluffy one who sits on my desk).

It has taken me all day to clear up the debri - take precautions now - don't less this happen to you.

Another Easter Card...

Yet another Easter card! I seem to be sending more out this year than usual.

This card is for the challenge at Pollycraft, where the fortnightly challenge at the moment is to use one of their fabulous downloads. I used a gorgeous image from the Phoebe and Maude Spring kit and combined it with some stamped Easter chicks from a Woodware stamp set and a small sentiment stamp by Stampendous.

Lazy daisy that I am I used the precoloured image, but I did colour the chicks myself!!! I love the pink and green combination on the download so tend to print it out ready coloured - how lazy am I? Don't answer that one!!!

Signs of Easter coming...

Two cards today - both with an Easter theme and both using that flower with a hole in the middle from the Cricut cartridge Plantain Schoolbook. I've had a little craze of using that over the weekend. I really wanted to use it layered up to give it depth and have an image in the recess in the middle, which is what I did on the yellow card.

On my green card there is just one layer of flower layed over the Easter chick image. I added stitching lines to emphasise the flower (very subtle stitching lines - has anyone else noticed how easy it is to pick up the clear Sakura glaze pen when you mean to use the white?)

Both stamped images are by Penny Black and have been coloured using water colour pencils and a touch of Sakura Stardust clear to give them added sparkle.

I'm entering these two cards for as many challenges as I can in an effort to catch up with myself - an impossible task but here goes...

'bunnies' at Crafty Creations - see first card - how cute is that bunny in the chocolate box?
'Easter' at Lili of the Valley - both cards !!!
'Bunnies and chicks' - Daring Cardmakers - both cards again!
'faux stitching' - The Secret Crafter - although I'm hoping to enter another card for this as I have bought a little gadget.
'think Spring' - Penny Black Saturday Challenge - both cards
'Easter or Easter Eggs' - Created by Hand - both cards again!

and of course not forgetting my own favourite The Pink Elephant where we too have 'Easter' as our main theme this week.

Pink Elephant Challenge 8

Yeah it's Monday and it's Pink Elephant day!! This week our challenge is to be creative with Easter in mind - so we're hoping to see lots of bunnies and chicks and all manner of Easter Creations.
My card and gift bag are for my PINK mad daughter - if it isn't pink it doesn't count. She is even wanting a PINK lap top!!!
The large flower mounts were cut using my Cricut (Plantain School book cartridge) and then embossed using the Swiss Dots folder. The rabbit in a choccy box image is a Penny Black stamp.
The bag was also cut using my Cricut machine and the same cartridge. It was cut on A4 size card at 6" which was the largest size the machine would do on that size of paper.
My Cricut is still fairly new to me and it took 3 pieces of card before I realised that any card with a coating needs to be set at a higher pressure. I do love the way it cuts out though - it's like magic!! I absolutely love it!! Hoping to install the Design Studio to use in conjunction with it next week - that should be fun!!!

Thank you so much to great friends who have become followers of my blog. Love having you around.
