Sweet Pea Blog Hop...

Oh such sad news - Sweet Pea Stamps are closing down.  Over the last few years they have been one of my favourite companies - I will miss the challenges, the Facebook group and the amazing stamp range big time.  As a thank you to Lynette for all she has done over the years a few of us decided to have one final blow out blog hop.
My Blog Hop contribution uses a really cute digi stamp by Conie Fong called Joy to the World  - if you are quick you can still buy this with a massive 35% off, but the shop closes tonight at midnight so hurry hurry hurry!

Other materials used...
  • snowflake tree die by Britannia Dies
  • snowflake border trim by Couture (free gift from Create and Craft at NEC)
  • gems, organza ribbon and computer generated sentiment
  • silver and blue mirri card plus white card base
As a treat I am offering one Sweet Pea rubber stamp from my collection. To enter in the draw for the stamp please comment on this post before the weekend when I will put all the names in a hat and draw out one lucky winner.
Here's the stamp...

Let it snow - let it snow...

BUT ONLY ON CHRISTMAS CARDS!

Thank goodness I got back from Whitby last night as I dread to think how cold it will be on those cliff tops today.  Beautiful harbour though and the abbey on the cliff is just so dramatic.  A great place to spend some time in good weather or with plenty of thermals on.

Well onto our new challenge at My Time to Craft  which you have probably guessed is all about snow.  The DT have done some fabulous samples - do check out my team mates work and also we would love to see your snow themed projects too.

I got a little carried away with the snow flakes and created not one but two stepper cards.  I really love this stepper card die lent to me by a friend some weeks ago.  I have returned now and really need to buy my own.

Both my cards are topped off with an image from a sheet of Penny Black Stickeroos I've had for simply years, but I do love them and it's great to see them finally on a card.  The sentiment was computer generated and then mounted onto the card.  Extra snowflakes and a die cut frame finish both cards.

Other challenges...
Have a great weekend everyone and I hope to see your snowy creations soon.
