Name that tuna...

The challenge at http://caardvarks.blogspot.com/ this time is 'music' and as Laura had asked me to make a special card for her boyfriend who is into rock music it fitted perfectly.

My card is huge (A3 folded in half) as the main image of the guitar is taken from the DCWV Rockstar book. I love the papers in this book although most of the designs are more suited to scrapbooking as they are so large.

Laura is really pleased with the card and I am sure James will be when he opens it on Wednesday.

A Card for a girl...

At http://www.dutchdare-cardchallenges.blogspot.com/ the theme is making a card for a girl. For me that means pink with a touch of bling, maybe flowers and most definitely a Magnolia image.

Birthday Somethings...

Don't you just love it when daughters tell you how talented you are and how much their friends love your cards? Hmmmmm anyone with any sense knows that all that buttering up is leading somewhere!

Sure enough Laura (my eldest daughter) wanted a card making. A card for a man (never a good request) and one who has just left University -loves the city of Liverpool and would probably be really happy with a card on a Liverpool theme. This was further complicated by the addition that the card would be even better if it had the Super Lamb Banana on it!!! No she wasn't asking for much. Have you seen the Super Lamb Banana???

Anyway I decided, remembering how much Shelley's boyfriend enjoyed playing with the Christmas spinner cards, that perhaps a spinning super lamb banana might be the best option. Laura thought it was great and I'm hoping Anthony does too when he receives it.
