Here's the second card using a snowflake from one of the shop bought cards I was sent this Christmas. You can see the original card and my first card in the post below.
This time, with the influence of the challenge at Fab's Christmas Challenge, I decided to do a tall slim card and use the snowflake and it's backing. I did cut out a nestie scalloped square to mat the topper on to and sandwich the acetate.
Glitzy border peel offs and simple sentiments seperated by snowflakes with added gemstones finish the card off.
Yeah another card for my Christmas box and the challenges at...
- Fab's Big Christmas Card Challenge - tall, slim and maybe icy colours (yeah I covered both options)
- Creatalicious Challenges - old (the snowflake is recycled), new (acetate), blue (snowflake) and torn (hmmm pushing my luck here but I did drop the card and one of the arms of the snowflake needed repairs!)
- ABC Challenge - layering - (layering plays a big part on acetate cards as you have to ensure that you sandwich the DST between the layers using both sides of the acetate so that no DST shows)
- Rainbow Lady's Challenge - Recycling
Have a fabulous weekend everyone.
