Magical Christmas...

This week at Aud Sentiments our challenge is 'Things with Wings' alongside the all important sentiment.  We are being sponsored by Paper Shelter and were lucky enough to be given a beautiful image called Hope to work with.
For my project I printed a sentiment and the image of Hope on acetate and then laid that over the top of the accompanying backing paper.  As the image on acetate is slightly raised I think it gives a very ethereal quality.  Sadly it doesn't show up well in the photo even though I tried several shots at many angles.  Please believe me that in real life the effect works well.  Honest!!!
Here's a close up of the beautiful image...

Materials...

  • Hope image and backing paper by Paper Shelter
  • Purple 'blotchy' card from stash
  • silver mirri
  • white base card
  • snowflake dies and swirl
  • gem stones

Bring on the bling!

Using topper bits and patterned card by Hunky Dory to make a really quick. but quite special 8 by 8 birthday card.  Adding tons of gem stones organza ribbon and a tag with 'Sister' peel off helps to make it more personalised and unique.
Challenges...

Back to the garden for me now - this fabulous spring weather is just amazing.  Must enjoy it while we can.

Another birthday card...

I usually stamp a couple of images to colour at a time - one for practice and one to use, but I found the Spectrum Noir pencils didn't really need any practice so I ended up with an extra image to use which led to making this card.  Always good to have a spare card for the box!

Materials used...

  • Penny Black large hedgie stamp and Penny Black sentiment stamp
  • Patterned paper magazine freebie from years ago
  • Purple card, silver mirri and white base card
  • purls and organza ribbon
  • Spectrum Noir colour pencils
Challenges...
Have a fab day in the spring sunshine if it is shining where you are.
