Laura wanted a card for her friend's birthday and seeing as her friend is a big Hello Kitty fan it seemed a good time to pull out the fantastic Sizzix die given to me by my good friend Max. Thank you again Max and watch out for the postman today or maybe tomorrow!
I thought it would be really easy using the die but oh my it's quite fiddly getting all the seperate bits cut out in the different colours and putting it all together.
I found a great way of adding the eyes though. When you cut Kitty out the eyes and nose are holes - by adding DST on the back you get a stick surface in the hole into which you can pop the black eye and nose. I found doing it this way gives a super neat finish.
I've added as much bling as possible to the card to match the sparkly personality of her friend - I do hope she likes the card. Laura was thrilled and says her friend will be too.
As the theme at Creative Inspirations is Bling this time my card is perfect for that challenge too.
