Another male birthday card! I seem to have had quite a few of them to make recently and like everyone else I get that sinking feeling whenever I'm asked for one or I have one to make to send.
I think it's the thought of no flowers - no ribbon and perhaps no bling - sigh - men no taste! LOL.
Anyway I was asked to make a birthday card for a gentlemen who was about to celebrate his 7oth. It was tricky because I had no clues as to whether he was fisherman, golfer or anything. I decided to use this image from Joanna Sheen's 'Fashion Boutique' CD. There are some fantastic images on there and quite of them are suitable for men's cards.
I like black and silver together and alongside some matting and layering I used a cuttlebug border die to do the trellis type border along the base of the image. I actually put some black bling on there too, which you might just be able to make out in the picture.
I'm entering this card into as many challenges as possible, because I seem to have got way behind lately and feel like I have deserted the challenges I love so...
