A winter scene on the front of a simple shopping list book. These books are only about 15p at Wilkinsons and with just a decorated front they become something special - well I think they do.I made this one at the Sheena Douglas workshop I went to a couple of weeks back. The sentiment is slightly crooked as there was so much going on and it's hard to concentrate on stamping straight with Sheena bursting with energy and enthusiasm right at the side of you. Anyone who has seen Sheena in action will understand I'm sure.
Since the workshop I've been wanting to do some more landscapes, but the right colour of Distress Ink - Faded Denim has proved really difficult to get hold of - even at the NEC nobody seemed to be selling Distress Inks and when I did find some they had sold out of that colour the day before. Will have to order some online!
Materials used:
- Distress Inks - Faded Denim and Pine needles
- Cut n Dry foam
- Sheena Douglas scene stamps
- white glaze Sakura pen and ultra fine glitter
- Cupcake Craft Challenge - Snow much fun
- A Spoonful of Sugar - Create a scene
Not to worry I've now found things that I didn't even know I had and some stuff that someone else must have bought cause it's really horrid!! The local nursery school will love it though.
