Bah! Humbug! - Challenge 2 - New Stash...

I cannot believe how many fantastic entries we had at Bah! Humbug! last week.  It was just so exiting looking at everyone's cards and projects.  I know things are alway popular to start with, but I do hope everyone will continue to join in and keep on making their supply of cards for next Christmas.
I can't believe I have already made 3 cards (one of which was for Fab's Christmas Challenge) - oh I am gonna be so organised by the time Christmas rolls around.
This week our theme is NEW STASH!  I suppose it's the exact opposite of last week's challenge, but it does give everyone chance to use those goodies that Santa brought or maybe things that tempted us in the sales.
On my card I used a really old stamp that was part of an A4 sheet of snowmen I bought years ago - don't know the name of the manufacturer, but I love the stamps.

My new stash is...
  • the blue patterned paper by Dovecraft (bought in the sales - bargain £2.50 for a whole pack of 12"x 12")
  • the 'Let it snow' sentiment is one of the stamps in the set by Just Rite that I got for Christmas.
  • the snowflake was cut using my cuttlebug snowflake die which I was desperate to buy ages ago, but then ended up not using till now.  Does anyone else ever do that?

Now as you know at Bah! Humbug me and my mates (Max and Irene) are very kind hearted so if you haven't got anything new you have our permission to go out and buy something so that you can join in the challenge.  LOL!! However, please don't send us the bill - there is a limit to our generousity!

As ever I am combining challenges so my card is also for the fantastic challenges at...
and a last minute entry to Raise the Bar - a fantastic new challenge blog - this looks like it is going to be so much fun.
Whoops forgot to say the card is based on this week's Mojo Monday sketch.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone - see you on Monday for The Pink Elephant day.

    Last sample card...

Another Joanna Sheen Country Life sample that wasn't actually shown on the TV programme, but one that I'm quite fond of.  I've saved some of my Christmas card images to do this with.  I think cutting up the images and reassembling could be an effective way of recycling them.  I just haven't had time or been warm enough (heating now on but for how long) to do it.

Dare I enter Crafty Ann's challenge again?  Yeah why not - I've entered nearly everyday it would be a shame to miss the last one!!
At Creative Inspirations they too have just started the theme of new so my card also fits their challenge.

Hmmmmmm NEW that reminds me - today is the last day of our recycling challenge at Bah! Humbug! so do hurry if you want to be included in the draw.  Tomorrow sees the start of our new challenge - lol - wonder what the theme will be!

    Christening Card...

This card was another of the samples I did for Joanna Sheen.  Very tricky to take a photo of because not only is is mirri but it's embossed mirri card!  This card was the first I did of the samples and a favourite as it has beautiful words inside and was stamped with the small heart from the set of stamps.
Yet again my card fits the challenges at...
I do hope they don't regret the theme 'New' or are toooooooooooooo fed up with my barage of cards.  Just one more sample to show and then it will be Bah! Humbug! day.  Yeah - new challenge starts Friday!  If you haven't managed to get your recycled card done yet then please hurry as the closing time for the draw is 12.00 GMT tomorrow (Thursday).
As to the next challenge should I give out clues -ooooooooh better not Max and Irene might throw me off the team!!
Have a good day everyone and may your heating never ever break down, unlike mine which went again yesterday and I have been so cold all night even under the duvet!

Thank you so much to great friends who have become followers of my blog. Love having you around.
