Hoppy Easter...

Another Easter card and this time it's for my daughter Shelley, who like me is a real softie when it comes to rabbits.  The image is one of the amazing collection of digi images I was lucky enough to win from Pollycraft.  Oh such a cute collection.  My friends will be seeing a lot of these this Easter.  Love the rabbit and the duck (although not on this card) is just adorable.

The daisy border was punched using another of  the new punches Laura bought me for Mother's Day.  The sentiment is from a collection by Making Memories and the bunny paper is another design from the DCWV Spring stack.

Challenges...

• Pollycraft Monday Challenge - sparkles
• Pile it on - Furry friends
• Promarker Passion - Springtime with an animal
• Digital Tuesday - Springtime
• Sketch Saturday - sketch

Happy Easter...

It's all very well being organised for Christmas thanks to our Bah! Humbug! challenge site, but things like Mother's Day and Easter keep creeping up on me!  Anyway with still over a week to go I have started my Easter cards - yeah I might not be meeting myself coming back on the day before the event as I normally am.

This is my card to give Laura.  Hope it's 'pink' enough!  I've used one of my all time favourite stamps by C.C. Designs  at All that scraps.  I'm not sure whether this stamp is still available, but I just love it.  That wheelbarrow is just so useful.  Last time I used the stamp on this card  I filled the barrow with little paper flowers.  This time I used a craft knife to put a slit in the top of the barrow and then used an egg shaped punch to make tiny Easter eggs out of the DCWV backing paper, which is from the Spring Stack.

My Easter card is for the following challenges...

• Truly Scrumptious - my card uses most of their 'truly scrumptious' sketch
• Stampotique - Spring has sprung
• Crazy4Challenges - Spring
• Secret Crafter - Spring has sprung
• Magical Crafts - Spring/Easter theme

Have a great day everyone.  Only 3 more sleeps to N.E.C. - not that I'm excited or anything.  LOL.

Pink Elephant Day ...

Time for a sketch challenge at The Pink Elephant and wow what a sketch!  So different and really inspiring.  Such a shame that one of the DT needs to hang her head in shame - ME! I'm not one bit happy with my contribution for this challenge.  This is the other card I made in a hurry for Shelley's birthday on Friday.  It had to be purple and black as they are Shelley's favourite colours and I must admit she loved the card, but I don't, even though it does look better in real life than on screen.

As you can see the Nellie Snellen die came out again.  I'm addicted to that at the moment - it seems to be appearing on every card.  The small circles were cut using Nesties and the letters were cut on the Cricut using half and one inch lower case letters.

Have a great day everyone and if you want to see some amazing designs by my fellow DT members do pop over to The Pink Elephant where the rest of the team have entered some fabulous creations.
