This is one of the cards inspired by the Sheena Douglas workshop I was lucky enough to attend last weekend. It's more or less identical to the one we made in class except that on this one I didn't test the 'heat resistant' acetate to it's limit resulting in a buckled creation!Materials used:
- Sheena Douglas Scene Stamps
- black card, thick acetate
- green stazon for stamping branches on to acetate (mental note should have used same green for trees but too late now)
- white glaze pen and ultra fine glitter
- Promarkers and gold sentiment peel off
- My Time to Craft - 'rip it up' - the snow scene has ripped paper to create the snowy edges
- Winter Wonderland - open theme
As I needed a Halloween card to send to card making buddy in a forum I belong to I thought I would have a try at a black version. This was just so much fun to make - wish I needed some more Halloween cards.
Materials used:- black card and thick acetate
- clip art by PC Crafter
- sentiment stamp by unknown(but really rubbish one as peeled of wooden block and really awful to stamp with)
- bat die cuts made using Cuttlebug die and embossing folder
- glitzy border peel off by Anita's
- The Cuttlebug Spot - Boo - orange, green and black
- Rainbow Lady - Halloween
- Stamping for the Weekend - Have a hauntingly good time.
- Stamp Something - Halloween
- Bubbly Scrumptious - ghosts and ghoulies
- Project Tuesday - stair step card - this is a variation on that theme - a sort of stair step with an acetate roof.

These are two stunning cards Ann. The acetate makes such a fab effect, the images jump right out at you. The torn edge on your snowy card is perfect.
Thanks for joining us at My Time To Craft!

I think we all need to stock up on acetate before you use so much it become scarce. You seem to have got the hang of using it down to a fine art this last few weeks and now you've added your new found 'Sheena' skills there's no holding you back. This is fabulous Ann. Well done.

Absolutely fabulous Ann! I adore these (especially that cute halloween one!)
I actually really like the 2 different greens on the tree, it gives a lovely 3D effect.
Thanks for giving me a good laugh about the scary 8 year old too sweetie!
Beautiful cards, thanks for taking part in the MTTC challenge xx
OH Ann what can I can? The C. tree card is absolutely stunning. I reckon one would have to pay a fortune for this if they bought it in a shop. (mind you, knowing the work you put into your cards, you could sell it for even more) Everything about it shouts "Coming Home for Christmas". Perfect! Wonderful!
The Halloween card is fun and spooky and again everything just right.
Well done my friend

Totally stunning Ann. I love cards that use acetate and these are two beauties. My Fav is the Halloween card. What a great idea for a card shape... if it's ok with you I'd love to have a go at it sometime.

LOL I can just imagine the scene on your doorstep - I always knew you were a scream ROFLOL!
As you know I am in awe of your acetate cards but these have got to be among my all time Top 5 Favourites!
I have seen the folded base idea before used simply as a device to stop flimsy cards collapsing, but I lurrrrrve how you have used it to build a stepped scene - BRILLIANT!!
(Apologies for all the exclamation marks - I cannae' help it!!)
