Aud Sentiments Day...

It's week 2 of the challenge at Aud Sentiments which means I can finally reveal my make.  Sorry to say it's not one that I'm really proud of as I had so many problems making it including a printer that refused to take good card so I had to try and colour on duff stuff  and green card with a white core that when cut reveals a little too much white in my opinion.  However, I don't think the results are too embarrassing!

Our challenge this time is to use a two word sentiment which of course gives you loads of scope as there are so many good ones.  I decided to use this really snazzy useful 'Happy Birthday' sentiment by Ginny H.  It's free on the Aud Sentiments Challenge blog so do pop over and add it to your collection if you like it.  I know the team would love to see it used on your creations.

This fortnight we are being sponsored by Scrapper's Delight who have a huge range of digi images.  Do check them out if you haven't shopped there before. Fab stuff.  For my creation I used a cutie called Fruity Babies Strawberry and attached her in a 3D box of strawberries.

I really love these clever little boxes that are just so easy to make and yet so effective.  This one was made using a cutting file from SVG Cuts.  It came as part of a collection and I have a feeling that I will be making loads more of these over the coming weeks.  Here's the folded down version that slots into an envelope so easily.

Materials used...
  • patterned papers, green, white and red card
  • gems
  • sentiment by Ginny H freely available on challenge blog
  • cutting file by SVG Cuts
Challenges...
Have a great week everyone.

I think this is a super card. It is a cute image and the strawbs and their flowers are very realistic. It is good to see the card folded down too as I have never been sure about making them as most of mine are posted internationally. I must give it a try. Kate x

Love that you did a "teaser" last week about your reveal - you write such nice posts Ann!
Regarding your box card - delightful! I love the Swiss Dots on the berries. If the white core bothers you, take an ink pen [I use Copics] in a close color and quickly run across the white edge. I check mine on a scrap first -If you don't move quickly the card may absorb too much ink & it will show. I love this little box - and you filled it up so beautifully so it is lush! So nicely done Ann, and your troubles with CS certainly don't show!

This is great, so much detail and yet it still folds flat. Not embarrassing at all! Thanks for sharing at ATSM this week, Anita x
