Another favourite flower...

Oh dear disaster has struck - I've done something to a muscle under my ribs or thereabouts and it's really painful to sit crafting or on the computer (hmm I know - why am I writing this post then? - well blogging is totally addictive and I'm only going to write a bit!).

Can't make any cards at the moment so grabbing the opportunity to show another of my sample cards for Joanna Sheen's Favourite Flowers stamp sets.  I think yesterday I said the hydrangea was my favourite - hmmmm well actually I love this rose too and the sentiment that accompanies it.

As the challenge at My Time to Craft is 'anything goes' my card fits that challenge well.

Hope whatever it is that I've got doesn't stay around too long I've got toooooooo many things to do.

The Stamp Man and my best crafting project award...

The Stamp Man has a great blog hop going on until January 3rd and part of the event involves looking back over your past year and picking out pieces of work that you are really proud of.  Sounds easy, but oh my when you look back through the months it gets really hard to choose.
I decided that I was really proud of the way I finally got to grips with Promarkers.  When I first started with them I found them so hard to use successfully (not helped by the fact that the type of card I had was useless), but now I love them and use them all the time.
For my special piece of work I've chosen  a card I made as a sample for Joanna Sheen when the Favourite Flowers range of stamps were released.  I loved doing this card even though the hydrangea took ages as I used three shades of Promarker and coloured the flower heads petal by petal.  The butterfly was part of the set too and was also coloured with Promarkers.

Do pop over and visit The Stamp Man to join in the fun.  There are some great prizes on the blog hop and also if you join in the awards you qualify to display the 'Best Work Award' on your blog.

Yeah it's Pink Elephant Day...

Well I hope you all had an amazing Christmas - I certainly did.  Well I did if you don't count the heating breaking down or having to stuff cotton wool in my ears due to having the telly on at top volume for Grannie - she's not deaf - it's just that everyone mutters - lol.

Anyway on to this week's challenge which is a sketch.  Infact there two sketches on offer making our challenge super easy at The Pink Elephant, which is just what we all need when we're all feeling a bit brain dead after all that turkey and Christmas pudding.
Our sponsor this week is Totally Stampalicious .  I really love the way that at the moment when you buy a set of their stamps you get a set of the same design in digi format.  What an amazing idea - love it!  Stampers can stamp to their hearts content for the front of the card, but use the digis in whatever size they want to print alongside the verse on the inner.  Just brilliant - wish all companies did that.

My card is also for the challenges at ...
Have a great day everyone and I hope you've been saving any bows or fancy paper that came along over Christmas as it's not long now to wait for the start of Bah! Humbug!

Thank you so much to great friends who have become followers of my blog. Love having you around.
