It's Thursday and that means...

It's Aud Sentiments Challenge day.  This week sees us continuing our super easy anything goes as long as it has a sentiment challenge.  Masses of scope there and some really talented crafters have already entered some stunning work, but there is still time if you haven't already entered.
We are being sponsored by Lacy Sunshine who do the most beautiful whimsical images.  Do take a look at their store - there are so many to choose from and if you happen to be the lucky winner of our challenge you'll have the chance to pick three images of your choice.  A really great prize.

For my card I used the delightful Lovee Ethereal Enchantress printed onto white card and then coloured using Promarkers.  I'm still having printer problems but managed to get my old printer working to print this image.

Other materials used...
  • purple card
  • green designer paper and the reverse side which was plain green
  • Swiss dots embossing folder
  • Sentiment stamp - years old - think it was Anita's originally
  • a touch of glamour dust

I do hope you have enjoyed visiting my blog and will visit again soon.  I love to read comments and am making a point of visiting the blogs of people who comment so that I can see their work too.  Doing that is giving me such inspiration.  Sometimes it's really hard to believe the amount of talent around.  Amazing.
Have a great day whatever you have planned.

Happy Easter...

Oh my mirri card is hard to get a photo of!!  Love using it though, but the cards when photographed always have spooky images of the photographer mirrored in them.  Not good.

The image on this card was from a Hunky Dory assorted pack and it doesn't really show in the photo, but it is actually decoupaged.  Another quick and easy card.  I seem to be getting very lazy in my old age.

Materials used...
  • Hunky Dory image sheet
  • cream pearlescent card - gold mirri card and cream pearl 8 by 8 base card
  • Marianne tag die
  • A4 Swiss Dots folder
  • organza ribbon

Thanks for dropping by and hope you like what you see.
Have a great day.

Easter cute and cuddly...

Just a quick card I made today ready for Easter.  I don't really send that many Easter cards, but with all the cute bunnies around I've been tempted by both the stamps and the cutting files at the Silhouette Store.  Today's card is a cutting file one which was so easy to make and quick too.  I've decoupaged the rabbit to give the card a little depth and added gems, a sentiment and an organza bow.  Silver border and corner peel offs add a little bit more interest, but all in all a very simple card to complete.

Challenges...

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog.  Please leave a comment so that I know you have been and I can visit you in return.
