After seeing Di's brilliant paper piecing the other week it reminded me how much fun it could be so away went the Promarkers and out came the snippets of different patterned pink papers..
Materials...
- Stamps for main image and lettering by Inkydoodles
- organza ribbon and gems
- Promarkers - came out for skin and wings (sheesh hate that yellow on wings, but not as bright in real life - I blame the camera - LOL)
- one full sheet of pink patterned paper and snippets of matching pinks
- white scalloped card base and white card for matting and layering

Oooh Christmas card number three and it's not even the end of January. Unbelievable! This is another card using snippets left over from other projects. Infact these snippets are the ones left after making my muscle man card in the post below.
The glitter frame was die cut from the mat beneath the muscle man image and the bauble was later die cut from the mat. Oooh go on like this and I'll get a spot on Super Scrimpers. Urgh I don't think so - I couldn't start rummaging through garbage bins even for craft stash.
I don't always gut card when matting and layering, but I must admit that using a die and just cutting a frame out doesn't take very long at all and with certain special papers and card it has to be worthwhile.

Not only did I have to do yet another man card, but it had to be one with a muscle man on. Now, I have a lot of stamps and I mean a lot! Some people collect postage stamps whereas I collect rubber, but not one of those stamps has a muscle man on and none of my digi kits or even the Dover Collection I bought years ago either. Thank goodness for blogging friends as Di at Pixie's Crafty Workshop was able to point me in the right direction. Mo Manning!! Thank you Mo for having a digi stamp that was perfect for what I needed.
