New stamps - new home ...

Today see's the release of a new range of stamps by Joanna Sheen.  The series of stamps are called Country Life and you can see a video of Joanna showing many of the sample cards (including mine) here.

For any Sheenies reading this - yep I was responsible for the very tongue in cheek ATC and what Joanna didn't own up to was that on the back in very large capital letters it says 'BUY MORE STORAGE'.  Problem solved!

I used Promarkers to colour the image, but added texture for the hedge and thatched roof using Derwent Inktense pencil crayons.  The sentiment is part of the same set of stamps and papers, lace and card are all from my stash.

My card is also for the challenges at...
Happy Sunday everyone.

I loved this card as soon as I saw it Ann. You've pulled everything together in the way that you've coloured it and the papers you've used perfectly. I often use a mix of media for colouring things but don't have any promarkers so it's interesting to see how well they and the inktense pencils work together. Thank you for entering this lovely piece into Crafty Ann's, I feel honoured that you have.

Wow Ann - this is absoluelty gorgeous - and thank you for giving the link to Joanna's video. (I didn't know she was doing this sort of thing but it's great to see a product in detail like this - especially if you miss the shows.) Thanks you for sharing your work of art with us at Crafty Ann's challenge.
