Acetate on show at Bah! Humbug! ...

Oooooooooooh love acetate.  Infact I've just ordered a huge batch of inkjet printable, but naughty Mr Postman didn't deliver it in time for our challenge this week at Bah! Humbug!
I decided to go for a very simple card using a Marianne/Nellie Snellen die to cut out a silver mount and white cuttle bugged circle.  The snowflake was cut out of glitter foam using one of the snowflakes in a Marianne set.  A gem in the centre and silver border peel offs and sentiment finish the card.
The only draw back with acetate is that you have cut more sections to give a neat finish to the inside of the card, but using die cuts makes that so easy as the shapes are exactly the same size.

My card is also for the following challenges...
Have a fun weekend everyone.

I hate using acetate but I like the card you have made with it. I guess I'll have to give it a go for the BH Challenge. I don't think glitter foam has reached us here in Spain yet. It is pretty and has cut well. Kate x

Ann - this is gorgeous in it's simplicity. It will look stunning gracing a mantlepiece over Christmas. Perhaps if your inkjet printable arrives you might grace us with another sample???? lol

Hugs.

Die cuts like Marianne and nesties are indeed perfect for achieving a neat finish on acetate cards... so how come I didn't think of that LOL?
Really love the zingy red snowflake.

I've always been intimidated by acetate (especially for cards), but you've given me a great tip for it! I have MANY dies, so I will try to make an acetate card...someday. Hehehe Beautiful example, as usual!

It's so great to be playing again!!!

Lots of Love,
Erin
