Popping by again...

That's two days in a row, but I did think that as I was around I really ought to show my card for this week's challenge of lace at Bah! Humbug!.
I used my new ladie to create a centre piece.  The double sided card I used is some I have had for some time and is a stunning peacock blue on one side and silver on the other just perfect for lawork.  Don't know about anyone else but I still have the brass templates for doing this technique by hand.  I was never quite good enough with the craft knife and mine always looked a bit tatty, but these dies make it so easy.  Having said that I don't think I would want to pay the full price for one and am so glad that my local craft store always has some good bargains.
It's a shame that there isn't much space left in the middle of the die cut.  I found it hard to find an image small enough to go in the centre so in the end I just added a small snowflake and left the card very simple.  I don't think it needed masses of embellishments.  I will add a Christmas verse to the inner sometime soon.
Gonna disappear again for a while now.
Do pop over to Bah! Humbug! to take a look at what the rest of the team have created.
Love and smiles.

Fabulous card Ann, I've still got the templates but have seriously been looking at these dies. Think I feel a spend coming on now that I can see how well they work

This is just exquisite Ann! I'm so glad you decided to post it. I've seen the dies and avoided them because of the expense, but after seeing this, I may just have to break down and get one at the next Scrap Expo. xxD

Hi Ann

I am indeed proud of you .. .. lots of snippets get used on a scrapbook page and you are I believe my first scrapbook page entrant!!!

A great layout and gorgeous colours. Fabby photographs too!!!

I recognised your snippets .. . .. how sad is that?!?! I too have those in my huge pile of Costco papers.

Those dies do look very scrummy!!

Thank you for joining me in the battle to reduce the snippets in our craft space.

Love Jules xx

Thank you so much to great friends who have become followers of my blog. Love having you around.
