Long time ... no see...

Oh my it's so long since I posted anything on here that I almost couldn't get into the blog as I'd forgotten my password.  Eeek that would not be good!
Well have I got time to start posting again?  Hmmm not sure - so many things going on, but I'm a little fed up of that sunset so let's have a change of country.
This scrap page features Laura chilling in a hammock in Puerta Plata in the Dominican Republic and was created using Serif Craft Artist and the digi kit Photo Projects Beach.

Challenges...
  • Fab and Funky -Challenge #129 "Summer Holiday"
  • Basic Grey - "FUN IN THE SUN" !! (sorry no BG products used but correct theme)
Hope everyone reading this is having a fabulous weekend.  I don't think anyone will actually remember me at all seeing as I haven't posted since April, but if you are visiting thank you so much for popping by.  Please leave a comment so that I can come and visit you too.
Have a great day all.

Sunset at Zia...

Watched a little of the Serif Photo Projects set on Create and Craft this morning and was tempted to buy.  Silly me then realised that I already had some of the kits they were advertising!  While watching I spotted a fabulous frame to use with scenic photos.  I played around with it this afternoon and created this page.
The photo was taken in the village of Zia near Kos town.  A very popular place for sitting in a rooftop restaurants or bars watching the sunset.

Challenges...
Hmmmmmmmmm after a good nights sleep I decided to play around a little more so here comes version two!  So easy to change things in digital scrapping.

Think version 2 will be the one that gets printed.  What do you think?

Bestest Buddy's Birthday...

Busy working at the moment, but decided to show a card I made for a really good buddie a little while back.  A really simple 8" x 8" design - it had to be as at the time I needed the card I was meeting myself coming back with work and other commitments too.
Materials used...
  • pearlescent ice gold cream card
  • gold mirri card
  • cream organza ribbon
  • Happy Birthday sentiment peel off plus corners and borders
  • Memory Box dies (thank you Max I just love these two)
Challenges...
Have a good weekend all.  I'm working yet again - this is getting boring, but will be popping online from time to time.

Whoops almost forget to add that the card featured below is one made to send to the same special friend.  Eli's not quite big enough yet to share in crafting fun (another couple of months and we'll be fine - got the ELC paints at the ready) so I used Serif Craft Artist to make a photo type card.  Just a bit of fun, but I know Max really liked it.

Again have fun everyone.  Hope you manage to get lots of crafting time.
