Leaving it too late to post a card is not good, but at least sending a digital card till the real thing arrives makes up a little bit. The card was created in Craft Artist using the Frou Frou CD for backing papers and image. Even though I have used the shadow tool - decoupaged the lady and done some fancy footwork with the text I'm not entirely happy with the card - sometimes you just can't beat the real thing! So sorry Claire, but the real thing will soon be winging it's way to you.
If you want to wish Claire happy birthday and be blown away by her stunning cards and projects visit her here at Claire's Crafty Creations - you won't be disappointed she is incredibly talented.
Challenges...
Have a great week everyone especially Claire - party time!

There was a rumble of discontent from some family members this Christmas due to them not receiving photo type cards. Last year I created cards with a Christmas bauble on with a photo of Eli inside. Can't do with unhappy people so using Craft Artist and my new Dinomite digi kit from Daisytrail I put a very simple card together.
I love the bones frame in the kit - just perfect for a dinosaur loving little boy.
Hopefully I'll be back in favour when everyone gets their cards. I know my mum cried when she got hers and I think it may be on the mantleshelf till next year now.
Challenges (although I don't think there will be many with a dinosaur theme - LOL) ...
Have a great weekend everyone.

I love sales especially craft ones. Sir Stampalot have amazing sales and this year I jumped in there as soon as the sale started and bought all these lush stamps and a clear sheet of Penny Black delectables for only £21!!! Aren't they just gorgeous?
If you've spotted a little cockerel and are wondering what on earth did she order that one for - I didn't - the one I did order was out of stock so the cockerel was a surprise replacement which at the price I paid I didn't mind at all.
My new plan of action is to display the stamps on one of my shelves until I actually get round to using them. The container is one that came with a whole host of stamps many years ago. Looking at it in the photo I think it's time to get the gesso out and do some altering. Watch this space!
Have a good day all and I hope you can find some great bargains in the sales too.
