  • Fiskers Border Punch
  • vintage patterned paper was freebie in recent magazine
  • double ended die cut tag by Cuttlebug
  • embellishments (yet another part of these earrings that Laura gave me - watch out for more bits coming soon - each earring could have been on QVC and sold as a vintage embellishment collection!

Congratulations...

My daughter asked for a card to give to her friend who has just qualified as a nurse and got her first job. Luckily I had an email from PC Crafter with a link to one of their new clipart sets with this lovely nurse image. I couldn't resist buying the set and using the image to make this card. I hope Laura approves - it hasn't got as much pink as she normally likes so I may have to go back to the drawing board!!
Naturally it had to cover some challenges too:

Materials used:

  • Clipart from PC Crafter

  • Green and white card and silver mirri card from stash.

  • Cuttlebuy 'Congratulations' folder

  • green ribbon and gems from stash

Update - card passed stringent quality control!!!

Wine glasses...

Yeah, this week is my turn to do the tutorial at the Pink Elephant. I chose to do some decorated wine glasses ready for those hot summer days we're all longing for - well I'm forever hopeful. This summer has got to be a good one!!

If you like to see more pictures and hear about how I made the set pop over to the Pink Elephant to find out more.

As I'm also trying to fit in as many challenges as I possible can this week I'm also going to enter my project at My Time to Craft where the challenge is to make anything but a card.

Thank you so much to great friends who have become followers of my blog. Love having you around.
